        "question": "Which cities in Japan can I fly to from Akita?",
        "answer": "From Akita you can fly non-stop to Tokyo Haneda, Osaka Itami, Nagoya Chubu, and Sapporo New Chitose. One-stop via Tokyo gives access to Fukuoka, Okinawa, and other cities. Choose Tokyo for urban culture, Osaka for food, or Sapporo for nature."
      },
      "q1": {
        "question": "How long is the flight from Akita to Japan?",
        "answer": "Akita is already in Japan, so there is no flight to Japan itself. However, a domestic flight from Akita to Tokyo takes about 1 hour non-stop, and flying to Osaka typically requires a connection and takes around 2 to 3 hours total."
      },
      "q3": {
        "question": "Which airlines fly from Akita to Japan?",
        "answer": "From Akita to other cities in Japan, JAL and ANA offer the most flights, with nonstop and connecting options via Tokyo or Osaka."
      },
      "q4": {
        "question": "When is the cheapest time to fly from Akita to Japan?",
        "answer": "For domestic Japan routes like Akita to Tokyo, the cheapest months are typically outside of Golden Week (late April–early May), Obon (mid-August), and New Year's, with midweek (Tuesday–Wednesday) departures and midday or late-evening flights often priced lower than peak morning and Friday/Sunday slots. Peak summer and major holidays usually see higher fares, so traveling in quieter periods like late January–February or late May–June tends to be more affordable.",
        "methodology": "Airlines and weekly frequencies are compiled from our flight-schedule database, which combines published airline timetables, U.S. government schedule data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), and observed flight operations from the EUROCONTROL/OpenSky Open Performance Data Initiative (OPDI). We count each operating carrier's scheduled weekly departures and the days it flies; where there is no nonstop service, connecting carriers are identified by linking scheduled nonstop segments through common hub airports. Where a median fare is shown for a carrier, it reflects the real fares Priceline users found on this route in the last 72 hours. Carrier service, flight times and distances for this route come from our flight-schedule database, which draws on published airline timetables, U.S. government schedule data, and observed operations from the EUROCONTROL/OpenSky Open Performance Data Initiative (OPDI). We report the days of the week and the departure times each carrier operates. The typical flight time is the median scheduled block time, given both per carrier and across all carriers on the route; where a schedule does not publish an elapsed time, it is derived from the scheduled departure and arrival times converted to UTC. Outbound and return times are computed by the same method, so the difference between them is directly comparable and reflects prevailing winds rather than any change in derivation. Distance is the great-circle distance between the two specific airports named, so an actual flown track is typically 2-5% longer. Where shown, on-time departure and arrival rates and cancellation rates come from the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) Airline On-Time Performance dataset, which covers U.S. domestic routes only; where a typical fare is shown, it comes from the U.S. DOT Airline Origin and Destination Survey (DB1B), a quarterly 10% sample of tickets sold."

        "question": "What are the most popular cities to visit in Japan?",
        "answer": "In Japan, most U.S. travelers arrive via Tokyo and explore its culture and cuisine. Kyoto is a short train ride away, known for temples and gardens. Osaka offers food and nightlife, while Hiroshima provides history. Sapporo is a northern hub reachable by flight."
      },
      "q8": {
        "question": "Which airports in Japan are best to fly into from Akita?",
        "answer": "Akita is already in Japan, so you are likely looking at domestic flights within the country. The best airports to fly into from Akita are Tokyo Haneda for the most connections and bullet trains, Osaka Itami for Kansai access, and Sapporo New Chitose for Hokkaido's ski resorts and nature. Haneda offers the most frequent flights and seamless train links, while New Chitose is ideal for winter sports and regional exploration."

      "q12": {
        "question": "When is the best time of year to visit Japan?",
        "answer": "For Japan, late March to early May and late October to early December are ideal, with cherry blossoms or colorful foliage and comfortable weather. Summer is hot, humid and crowded, especially in Tokyo and Kyoto."
      },
      "q13": {
        "question": "How do I get to Akita Airport from the city center?",
        "answer": "Akita Airport (AXT) is located about 14 km southeast of Akita Station. The most popular option is the airport limousine bus, which connects the station and airport in roughly 40 minutes. Taxis are available and faster but more expensive, while driving and parking at the airport is also possible with both short-term and long-term lots.",
