"question": "When is the cheapest time to fly from Fresno to Mexico?",
"answer": "From Fresno to Mexico, the cheapest months to fly are typically September, early October, November, and early December, where fares often dip to the low $600s–$700s round trip. Midweek departures (especially Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and off-peak travel times tend to offer the best value, while peak summer and major holidays like late December see significantly higher prices, often exceeding $1,000.",
"methodology": "Airlines and weekly frequencies are compiled from our flight-schedule database, which combines published airline timetables, U.S. government schedule data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), and observed flight operations from the EUROCONTROL/OpenSky Open Performance Data Initiative (OPDI). We count each operating carrier's scheduled weekly departures and the days it flies; where there is no nonstop service, connecting carriers are identified by linking scheduled nonstop segments through common hub airports. Where a median fare is shown for a carrier, it reflects the real fares Priceline users found on this route in the last 72 hours. Carrier service, flight times and distances for this route come from our flight-schedule database, which draws on published airline timetables, U.S. government schedule data, and observed operations from the EUROCONTROL/OpenSky Open Performance Data Initiative (OPDI). We report the days of the week and the departure times each carrier operates. The typical flight time is the median scheduled block time, given both per carrier and across all carriers on the route; where a schedule does not publish an elapsed time, it is derived from the scheduled departure and arrival times converted to UTC. Outbound and return times are computed by the same method, so the difference between them is directly comparable and reflects prevailing winds rather than any change in derivation. Distance is the great-circle distance between the two specific airports named, so an actual flown track is typically 2-5% longer. Where shown, on-time departure and arrival rates and cancellation rates come from the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) Airline On-Time Performance dataset, which covers U.S. domestic routes only; where a typical fare is shown, it comes from the U.S. DOT Airline Origin and Destination Survey (DB1B), a quarterly 10% sample of tickets sold. Cheapest prices are determined by finding the lowest fare Priceline users have found for the requested route and date in the last 72 hours. Calendar prices are the lowest fares users have found in the last 72 hours for the given route on each departure date. On dates without enough price samples, we estimate the fare by interpolating from dates for which we have good data, using a model that accounts for seasonality, day of the week, and other factors."

"question": "When is the best time of year to visit Mexico?",
"answer": "For Mexico, November to April is the dry season with warm, sunny weather and comfortable humidity. This is the busiest, priciest period, especially around Christmas and spring break. May to October is the rainy season, with lower prices and fewer crowds, but expect afternoon showers and potential hurricanes on the coasts. The shoulder months of May and November can offer a good balance of decent weather and value."

"question": "How do I get to Yosemite Intl Airport from the city center?",
"answer": "Getting from downtown Fresno to Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) is easiest by car, taxi, or ride-share, as the airport sits about six miles northeast of the city center with no direct rail link. Public transit is available via Fresno Area Express (FAX) Route 26, which connects downtown to the airport with limited frequency, while ride-share services like Uber and Lyft and traditional taxis offer door-to-door convenience. Driving yourself is straightforward via Highway 41 or McKinley Avenue, and the airport has short-term and long-term parking lots adjacent to the terminal. Driving, taxi, or ride-share are generally the fastest and most popular options, taking roughly 15 minutes from downtown, while the bus is the most budget-friendly but slower.",
